Dog Seat Belts And Dog Life Jackets....Safety First!

Crating is safer, but if it isn’t convenient, try dog seat belts.

It could save your dog’s life.

A variety of belts are available. They hook up to the standard seat belt. Don’t leave your dog without protection in the back of a minivan, suv or station wagon.

Put your pooch in a dog crate or have a gate installed so that your dog doesn’t fly out if he’s slammed up against it.

Don’t feed your dog before riding if he gets car sick. Avoid bumpy rides, sudden stops and turning.

For boating dogs, by all means use dog life jackets. They are natural swimmers but may get into rough water. Bright colors make it easier to see the dog if he’s overboard.

Please keep your dog safe.
